As everyone, or MOST everyone knows, I'm a HUGE animal advocate & apart-time ACO. So as I sit here at my desk at work, I think of a dog I had a case on last Thursday. This particular dog was a black lab/beagle mix. He looks like a smaller version of my own dog, just quite badly beaten. I look at him, look him in the eyes, look my OWNdog in the eyes &say to myself: how? How can a person look into those beautiful eyes of a dog, cat, etc. & purposely & intentionally be so vicious? They look to US for survival. They ask for so little: for food, health, & affection. They give us so much in return: loyalty, affection, companionship, undying love, sometimes, a body guard. As I sit here, I cry & wonder how could someone kill something so defenseless? Be so cruel? The next time you look at your pet, I want you to look into his/her eyes & think to yourself, what if? It could so easily be your OWN pet that could have faced that situation. But they got lucky-they have you to protect them, to shield them from harm & to love them. But what if? Could YOU picture it? So many have already lost that battle-lets try harder to make sure that we can STOP that battle completely, please? For there sake?
@Wario - Because animals are sinless and pure unlike us. Why are you so inconsiderate do you perhaps hate animals?
@Astra - I look into my dogs eyes everyday and see undiscribeable beauty Brown black gray red/orange I don't know how people can do things like that and not feel sick to the point of I don't know really. But how?
