The above picture was released as a teaser.
Today, Bethesda released a trailer containing juicy gossip about the upcoming
Skyrim DLC. They announced the title to be Dragonborn; does that sound familiar?
The picture appears to resemble a dragon priest which ties in with the DLC name. It also somewhat resembles a snow elf but it is more likely to be a dragon priest. You'll see why later on.
Now, the DLC was actually unofficially announced earlier on when some computer geek found some files hidden in the most recent patch. They contsined scripts hinting at dragon riding and new armour types such as chitin. This was coincidentally called Dragonborn since that name was mentioned in the files. It also mentioned The Isle of Solstheim which played a pivotal role in Morrowind's Bloodmoon. This would make sense after just having a vampire orientated DLC.
Intrestingly, the trailer reveals everything to be true (except for the fact that it contains werewolves) and after having watched this I have figured out a rough version of the plot.
There exists another Dragonborn who is also a dragon priest. He does not serve dragons but destroys them and lives on the Isle of Solstheim. After this it gets hard to follow but I'm guessing you either kill him or destroy him. It may also involve an Elder Scroll or some form of artifact to conttol dragons and thus ride them. All the ingredients are in place.
Now wait a minute, is the picture the same dragon priest that is in the trailer?
It more than likely is.
This DLC will be released December 4th and will cost 1600 microsoft points. And guess what? Dawnguard and Hearthfire still hasn't been confirmed for PS3! They truly are trolls!
