Previously... "What the hell are we gonna do?!" yelled Bura "This compromises medical safety!"
He slammed two fists on a nearby table.
I calmly replied "We'll have to terminate the mission."
"My god you're a genius; why didn't I think of that? Idiot."
"Don't patronise -"
"Shut the hell up! I'm the captain! You're patronising me!" He then took a few deep
breaths and said
"Perhaps you and that medical robot thing can develop some sort of cure."
"It's a virus. We can only make - " Bura stared deep into my eyes.
"I'll do it." I said after realising he was a stubborn creature.

To understand what I did next is a difficult task. You can see I was furious about being spoken down on. So I decided to take revenge. It would look like he lost his marbles and I could be the hero who stopped him.
I typed in the six digit PIN which unlocked the quarantine. This virus was a beauty; with a few tweaks I could specifically target the brain cells. It would kill him but the virus would animate his body. Nobody would notice. As long as nobody else gets infected, it should die after about an hour; it isn't adapted for human hosts. People will see his last moments as a mad man.
I grabbed a needle and mined the corpse's blood vein. I noticed a twitch after the needle penetrated his skin; he should be in loco mortis by now. I feel adrenaline jolt in me and leap to the side. His hands hover over the spot I previously occupied. His eyes open. I pick up the high powered laser that's still on me and fire it at his eyes. They melt. He loses all his vision but not the other senses. I know he can smell the sweat trickling down my forehead. He can hear my heavy breathing. He charges. I jump. He bangs into the rigid glass walls and appears to be dead.
I briskly walked out of the quarantine and ran back to Bura. I've got what I need. So I'll tell him it's an experimental cure. Revenge is best served by a hypodermic needle. Once I fiddle with it of course. Ha!
