There is a forest of pine trees near where I live, I built a little village of small stones and sticks near a large pine tree. One day I decided to add a watchtower. I collected some dirt and water and made a sort of clay, then I gathered some rocks near the brook and started to dig a hole where I would build the foundation. Thump. I hit something solid, at first I thought it was a rock but then I pulled it out and it was a book, it looked old and was torn, it had a cloth cover and yellow faded pages, the first few pages had some amazing realistic sketches of the woods. I then got to pages with some writing.
Day 1
I like this book, Antony gave it to me, I gave him a thank you gift.
Day 2
I want to write something interesting, but I don't know what to write.
Day 3
A butterfly landed onto my sandwich today. It was a beautiful hue of blue.
Day 4
I invited Antony to come with me to the woods, he taught me how to set a squirrel trap.
Day 5
Someone left me a rose on my windowsill. Curious..
Day 6
Antony brought me to eat carmel popcorn with him at the summer festival. It was too salty though.
Day 7
My mother tripped over a rock and fell onto a pile of wood, she broke her wrist but feels fine now. She said when she gets better we can go on a picnic.
Day 8
Today was my birthday, Antony gave me a beautiful sunflower, and my parents gave me a lovely copper horse. I have named her Carmel Popcorn.
Here a realistic sketch of a sunflower and a horse was drawn, but the next few pages were ripped out...
Day 17
My mother has a fever, I'm scared for her. Antony brought me for a trail ride today, he said I should try to get my mind off of it.
Day 18
The doctor came today and said my mother may have to be brought to New York to be diagnosed by a professional.
Day 19
Antony brought me tree climbing in the woods today. My father has started to arrange everything to bring my mother to New York.
I like how it takes him/her/they/fidget spinner/Luis/God/Attack helicopter a day to realize that maybe they should right something in the book. Maybe you should make it like hours.
