Dylan raised up his shirt, and I took a closer look at his wound,
"What even happened?"
"Nothing."
"Oh really?"
It was a large cut, it didn't look that deep, but Dylan was risking an infection, I had a first aid kit in my tent, maybe I had a disinfectant there too.
"Come with me to my tent, I have to clean this wound."
He put his shirt down,
"It's nothing really."
"Look. If you don't let me clean this, you could get an infection."
He sighed,
"Fine. Take me to your tent. But only if you don't tell Dante, or Leia."
"Alright, deal."
Later:
I had just finished cleaning the cut, so I got a bandage and started wrapping it around his waist,
"So. When are you going to tell me what happened?"
"Ouch. Go gentle on me."
"I'll tighten it even more."
"Please don't.."
"Tell me then."
"No."
I tightened the bandage,
"Ow, ow, ow! I'll tell you, I'll tell you!"
I stopped, and loosened it up a bit,
"Well, during Dante's idiotic story, I saw a green light in the trees behind where you were sitting, so I snuck away and went towards it.."
"Wait. Hold on. How did you see it behind me?"
"Well erm. I was kinda checking you out."
I choked on my own spit,
"Gah- What?!"
"Heh. Just kidding."
"Jeez."
"I saw it because it was shining in my eye."
"Weird."
"Yeah."
"Continue!"
"Patience little grassho-agh- hopper."
I finished wrapping him up and tied it,
"Sorry."
"It's fine. Thanks."
I smiled,
"No problem."
"Can I have my shirt back?"
"It's all ripped up. Do you have an extra?"
"Yeah. In my tent, next to my lantern."
"I'll go get it."
"Alright, take your time.. And don't snoop around."
"I don't snoop!"
"Oh really?"
I sighed rolling my eyes as I left the tent, and muttered,
"Weirdo..."
I crossed the campsite, his tent was on the other side. I went up to his tent and opened the flaps. I looked around for the lantern, it was next to a black cloth bag, I went up to the bag and zipped it open.
