Hi new members!

If you’re a new member, as in you just joined in the past couple of weeks/months, there are a few things you need to know.

1. Roleplaying Rooms are for Roleplaying (Language Rooms are for that Specific Language)
I can’t believe how many nights in a row we’ve had to keep telling you folks this! There are a number of you that are really close to being banned for regular chats in the RP rooms. I know that not many people use them, but if people DO want to RP, it gets confusing to have a normal chat going in there as well. Just remember, there are four regular chats to have regular discussions in and we even let regular chats happen in Event and Game. That’s SIX chatrooms! Take your pick!

2. You can swear, but don’t make it too inappropriate!
Unlike blogs where users can decide if they want to view a blog, users may not want to leave a chatroom or discussion just because someone is getting out of hand. CYBERING IS STILL BANNABLE EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE “M” THEMED CHATROOMS!!! There are so many admins that view PMs and we do NOT want to see your sexy times with our good eyeballs. Please abstain! On top of that, vulgar mentions of genitalia bother me personally, so I won’t hesitate to warn over them.

3. It is so, so weird to ask for pictures of other people and nobody likes to be constantly pressured into adding you as a friend. Unless the person already is showing their pictures or is fully willing to add you, DO NOT PESTER to be added or to show pics. This is harassment. If you are constantly asking someone to add you as a friend after they’ve shown hesitation or said no, you are harassing them and need to take a good look at yourself.

These are just some friendly reminders that we still take stuff on this site seriously. If you are a new member and have any questions, please either comment below, ask an admin, or put it on the Helpdesk. We do want you to enjoy your time on this site as so many of us have for years, but we also ask you to cooperate and make it an enjoyable experience for everyone. And if any admins have anything they’d like to add, please also comment below! This is open discussion for everyone.

EDITED TO ADD: WE REALLY WOULD APPRECIATE IT IF YOU DID NOT IMPERSONATE OTHERS USING THE /ALIAS COMMAND. You will be given a warning and a short amount of time to change your alias, and if you don’t, you might get banned. Depends on which admins are around.

IT ALSO SHOULDN’T HAVE TO BE SAID THAT SAYING YOU’RE GOING TO KILL ANOTHER MEMBER IS A BAD THING. IF YOU DO THAT, YOU WILL BE BANNED. This is unacceptable behavior!
