This is going to be a very short blog, but it needs to be said somewhere that people are going to see it.

DON’T. FLAG. IT.

We have had this feature less than a week and you guys are already abusing it. I’ve seen three flagged comments and they were all “test” or “joke” flags. Even with the buttons so close together, I don’t think it’s that easy to misclick. In addition to that, with the context of the comments, I don’t think they were misclicks. Yes, the flagging system works, it doesn’t need to be tested by test comments. No, nobody cares that someone is joking about you unless they’re actually being disgusting. And why the hell would you flag your own comment (Roger, LOL)?

So be mindful about what you’re flagging because starting now, I’m personally banning for joke flagging. Haha! Reverse card or whatever the crazy kids are doing these days.
