OK so here is skyshaymin with tips and how to's for capturing shiny pokemon.
1.
Okay. the first tip is to use the pokeradar. The pokeradar is a key item you get after obtaining the national pokedex. You can only get the pokeradar in pokemon pearl, diamond, and platinum. Sorry for heartgold soulsilver users. you have to select the pkrdr as item you use when pressing Y. go in grass with any pokemon that you want shiny ex. a shinx route 3. use the pkrdr in the grass there. you have to press Y in the grass.then walk into the grass that wiggles (lol). you have 2 faint all the pokemon u find. USE A REPEL. after 40 pkmn minimum ull see a sparkly patch. walk on that, boom a shiny pokemon.

Randomly walk around in grass and it might happen.
3.
get a pokemon from a different country (GTS). put it in the daycare with a pokemon from your country of the same egg group and you might get a shiny.
4.
You might see a shiny in the battle fronier or in a battle but you cant catch it.
5.
Get a cheat code. easiest way. not legit (real) but still shiny.
all shiny pkmn exist. my only shiny i got (without cheat) was a shiny slugma. (gray o.o) i evolved it and now its purple! i swapped it with my brother for an epic pkmn. cant remember wat it is xD but then my brother restarted the game xD noooooo!
