Tanooki Suit:As almost ever ones favorites the,regular tanooki this suit lets you use your tail and to use it by pressing Y to attack.Then to like float in the air move the circle pad right o left and press and hold A this allows you to float to the and makes it easier for you to get to the flag pole.
White Tanooki suit:Now you might lose 5 lives and then you just see a box that makes a noise and that is white tanooki leaf.Once you put it on your are invincible this means you will not get attacked.But once you done the stage you turn back into a tanooki suit.This suit last forever in the stage.There is one more thing about this suit if you get this suit[If you loses 5 live] the star on you file won't be shiny[will be explained about the stars]
Special stage:After you finsh beating bowser,You be seeing a pipe in world one you will enter in to save you brother Luigi now if you finish the first special world you will be able to use Luigi.Now all the stages will be unlocked so if your lazy just skip right to the castle stage in special world[beware of boss thorough].
Stone Tanooki:Now in the first stage of the special world.You'll see a grey tanooki leaf as you use it you'll start to think it just like a regular tanooki leaf,thats when your wrong if you jump up and press L or R you'll turn into a stone tanooki if you hold L or R for a long time you stay like that intill a while.
Stars onto your file[Total of 5 stars]:Now these star are very important because they will help you unlock the very last stage,To get the first one is by defeating bowser in the second castle in world-8.Then do all stages,defeat bowser another time and in the special world 8 castle.There are just two stars left to get on your file
by getting all star medal total of 285 the bonus do not count and last is get all stages with a yellow flag and cleared ever stage with Mario and Luigi,Now to have your star Glittering you can't lose 5 life in any of the stages.
Photos:In world 3 there a mushroom horse that is blue and show your photos.The photo you will first get is bowser having peach these can be saved in you SD card.There are 12 photo here are some things to help you get the photos

Streetpass:If you pass by someone with SM3DL you will exchange data and get mystery books that can help you get a Star medal.Also you'll see there time on how fast they beated the stage.
Boomerang Suit:This suit allows you to throw a boomerang and enemy such as fire power but this boomerang is more helpful this boomerang will come back to you.
