One aspect of these websites that has been lacking is games. DSiPaint has a few; WiiOperaSDK has some demos; 3DSPaint has none. For this reason, I am announcing the Game for a Game competition. Here is how it works...
1. You make one or more games for any of the websites and submit it/them.
2. Members vote on the best submissions.
3. You win prizes!
Any games submitted between now and August 31st will automatically be entered into the contest. Voting is held the first week of September. Prizes are as follows:
1st - Any game of your choice for the platform supported by that particular website. (Standard versions available in stores.)
2nd - 2000 Nintendo Points
3rd - 200 Savii Bucks
All accepted entrants will receive 50 Savii Bucks, as well!
Terms and conditions:
You must be the author of the game. You reserve the copyright of the game but it may be included as content and used for promotional purposes on these websites indefinitely. The game must be formatted and playable on the specified platform. The game can include a link to your website, but it must contain a method to exit to the games menu on the specified website. If the game contains a leaderboard, it will be provided database access for storage with login information to the author.
Since it wasn't directly specified, I assume created games can be designed for either Wii, DSi, or 3DS. But the latter is recommended, seeing as 3DSPaint has no game content.
@Takis It doesn't matter that DSiMystery is for the DSi. This competition is open to games for any of the three sites. It's simply that 3DSPaint is in need of games, so it'd probably be more appreciated by Hull if games were made for it. :P
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Games will be accepted on all 3 platforms. If you make the same game for both DSi and 3DS, you will get credit for 2 entries, as long as the game is specifically formatted to both screens, not just one submission with a request to have entries into both.
I'm interested to know what the image policy is--obviously users are free to include public domain images, but are SDK "motifs" like Minco or Skunkman permitted?
@twinkle987 What's with the Bulletin Board spam man?
I'm hoping there'll at least be 2 or 3 games submitted. The only one for certain I know of is Stuffman's DSiMystery, with Smalls' Web Dev RPG being a possibility, albeit likely being a beta release.

Danny-
3DSPaint could have this site's games.
Me and Smalls were just discussing formatting for other devices.
Use change the content attribute of your meta element to width=device-width.
Next is something that hardly anybody uses, and I have no clue why:
Percentages for width and height of elements.
Yeah, that surprised me when I first heard it--I'm not sure if you've considered it.
@PasserByGuy I believe HullBreach wants certain elements to stay unique to each site--i.e. DSiPaint's games, WiiOperaSDK's mesh gallery, and 3DSPaint's photo gallery.
Dewds, i'm not spamming, i always come back to threads and end up commenting on them.
I used to make games when i was younger, all the time.
But now im forgot because im getting really really old :*
But Seriously, you'd really go out and buy a game and nintendo points for members? :OOOO
Never in my entire life have i heard someone actually do that :o
