I've just noticed something...
I made a new blog, then a person I know saw it and gave it a +1. The next minute, I come back, the rating is now 0. Why do you do that, guys? The blog was good, there was nothing wrong with it. What's up with you idiots out there hating on people? Stop hating. Hating is stalking. Hating someone means you stalk them a lot just to mess with their things. This needs to stop...maybe an update where you can see who disliked the blog and who lieked it? Yeah, that'd be awesome. Stalking your stalkers....

The thumbs down is there for a reason. For example, that recent Ocarina of Time blog, which wasn't written well in my opinion, and showed a clear lack of perspective, but this isn't the place to discuss that.
I liked your blog, but I can see how it'd be annoying to have someone stalk your blogs and intentionally down-vote them. However, whether or not a blog is good is based on one's opinion.
And as with many things in life, getting even with your aggressors merely perpetuates the cycle.
Man, I think I'm on an overly philosophical role the last couple of days. o3o
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
Go skitz. :p
Btw, Nooblord, they sincerely were my stalking haters. I know it because whenever I make a new blog, it gets a -1. Only if I knew who did it...

Users have the freedom to positively or negatively rate a blog as they please, regardless of their justification for it.
However, it does cross the line when a user uses multiple accounts to deliberately lower the rating.
But for revealing who disliked the blog? No. Such is the path to perpetual blog wars, feuding, and unrest, not to mention blog ratings would become meaningless. On the other hand, seeing who liked the blog might be viable, but is less convincing when it shows only half the story.
@JacksonKolby That would be lieing to the blog maker. If they're doing an unsatisfactory job, why make them feel better. It only gives shallow confidence and a poor reputation.

It's not a rating, it's feedback. If it were a rating it'd be alongside the blog or ontop of it, as a kind of do / don't read this. Since it's at the bottom, It's actually feedback for you to tell you that people didn't like the blog. They are perfectly entitled to an opinion, whining makes you look a bit silly.
@JacksonKolby-In my opinion, what you mentioned is rather a bad way of raising one's self confidence. I am quite happy when people thumbs-down my blogs, as long as justification in the form of a comment is included.
I mean, why not tell someone what they're doing wrong so they can make it better? Why consistently lie about it being good when it will make them continue to write bad blogs?
Now, back to the topic. I believe what Biph stated above was wrong is wrong as well, as long as it doesn't follow the guidelines in the upper paragraphs.
Look, just voting down because you don't like the person? Annoying, but not really important. And this is coming from someone whose Blogs are mostly opinion. Even then, mine still have a positive rating, mostly due to my writing style. BD
But, while I do own an Alt, I've never used it to spam 'down-ratings'. Furthermore, why coddle someone who poorly wrote a Blog?
Whoa bro, better slow down bro, don't wanna be a bro, bro.
