Lol, never heard of them. they'd be cool though. because anybody can make a savii, but some people could commission paintings this way.. (If by paint auctions you mean selling paintings)
Paint auctions were where if you weren't logged in and painted something you would be given a code. If people who were logged in went to that old feature, and they typed in the code right, they would get to keep the painting. I only just realized it was removed.
You're referring to the DSiPaint Claim feature, which had nothing to do with auctioning. Its purpose was for unregistered or unlogged users to be able to keep their work when they registered or loggged in. The way it worked was that if a painting was saved by an anonymous person, they would get a code; the image would be saved to a paint album for whoever knew the code and entered it into the Claim area.
The feature was removed last year because it was being flooded with inappropriate paintings.
I wonder when the self lock on your own threads will be working again.
Anyways if it was actual auctions where you can put up paintings and bid on paintings that would've been a nice idea.
Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.
Change the "savii" currency into something like a site-wide currency so it can be used everywhere and this "buying" pairings would work great, also to mention all the additional tweaks which can be adde due to this.
