The whole message system has gone to crap.

I'm sure we all remember the old message system. You could simply message anyone you friended. Now you have to wait for them to add you now. Why does it even have to be like that anyways?

I dont mind the adding part, but the thumbing up? really? if you just cut that bit out it will be ok.

We should Just only be aloud to mail people if both people have each other on their friendslist.

I think it's a good system. That way you can also "block" people from sending you PMs

It would of makes sense if it was implemented in earlier, now it's just a pain doing it the proper way of adding both people and thumbin up.

It's not the message system, it's the friend system. We were once able to friend request each other, and that be the end of it. Now we have to do the friending thing, and then accept each other. I find myself helping countless numbers of individuals learn how to accept a friend, because they can't figure it out.

As said previously, it would be best if you could only message someone if you added them AND they added you. The thumbs up/thumbs down thing is plain tedious.

Messing with the URL doesn't work anymore for us regular users, Halli. Only for Admins of any sort, including Placebo, since they can message any user without having to add. We have to go through the adding wait, but personally, I don't mind. I hate spam, so I deal with this System.

Funday- Some people have been able to message me when we havent added each other.
So i guess they've got a way round it, i informed Hull, and he said he'll need to look into it.. 5 years later

I'm pretty sure there's only one way for normal users to currently message people that aren't added to both FL, changing the URL was may original way but it got patched for normal users : P

i kinda agree, like i dont want spam, but i sent a freind request, thr person accepted, and when i click on message, it says you can only message people who are on your friend list, which that person is, its been a few days and its still the same, anyone know how to fix this glitch?...

If someone friended you, and you accepted it, you can't mail them. BUT, if you added someone, and they accepted you, you can mail them. You have to add them to mail them, they have to add you to mail you.
