It is pointless as it's stated in the rules and terms that members are promoted when needed, so there is no need to ask. Though mostly everyone ignores the terms and rules.
However some apparently believe that you should always ask for what you want.

It will not end no matter who says what. Unless, it would decrease a bit if it was made bannable. Could kick up again after that even.

Don't argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

I don't mean to sound mean, but it is often the case that users say things like this in order to try and gain Adminship.

It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
