Starting now, any site that are down are going down from the affiliate links. I hate going to a place knowing it's down. So, make arrangements. If you want to see your site back up on the list, I'll review and see if it's completely back up.
-Thank you.
Other than the problems of sites being cancelled or being down for one reason or another--a few more issues I have with affiliates:
Failure to adhere to the requirements. As in:
- Incorrect usernames for listed developer (due to users submitting sites that they merely come across).
- Content is not visible without registration.
And also:
- Entries in the wrong categories (usually formatted vs. related).
- Inappropriate content (usually involving language).
- Very poor quality.
- Very little content.
The current list of affiliate websites definitely needs to be reviewed.
I understand, sites that I know that will come back, I will leave. Sites that have letters saying they quit are going down, should be removed. Great requirements Lim.
Oh, one other thing. I'm deleting sites who are not named under the owner. So I'll be surfing. The owner must come give you permission or They must do it him/herself.
I like Lim's requirements for this site's affiliates. We need to be sure that the affiliate websites are of at least decent quality, and that they are formatted correctly for device-specific websites.
It's my job to help the next generation, and set a good example for them. And for that I'll gladly lay down my life.
